I’ve gotten into cycling heaps and while I already have a bike that I borrowed from Ebony’s house for free, I was craving the next level! So I went to Reid Cycles and bought myself the 2015 Reid Aquila STI, for a very very low $449 (bike only). It comes with:
– Shimano Tourney/Claris drivetrain
– Generic drop bars
– Tektro brakes
– Alex 23R wheels (replaced with Mavic Aksiums for $315)
– Kenda Kriterium tyres (replaced with Continental Gatorskins for $89)
– Generic loopy pedals that I hate (replaced with Shimano M324 for $89)
Wooooo! Can’t wait to ride this beast more in the next few days.

How do you downshift on this bike?
+Rafael Padilla Shifters are integrated in the brake levers so you pull
them sideways outwards to downshift. The thumb shifter up shifts 🙂
is that inner frame tubing i see and also is that a 7 speed or 8 speed
