First up, if you’re going to drift, or practise drifting, make sure you don’t go and ruin someone’s new trails! A parking lot is the ideal place to get out a try this skill.
Basically, drifting is all about being comfortable when your bike is sliding; something that’ll help you to avoid crashing in loads of situations alongside riding slightly faster out on the trail.

1:37 Yess I can Dab nice and quick.
Since i started buying my own tyres, i stopped doing this. 🙁
The Pioneer yeah but I’ve learned my lesson from trying to skid my tires on pine straw the bike flips on me everytime.
Daniel Abal Freire that’s why I kinda love Canadian winters, because on a nice day you can slide, I went with just barely below 0 and 2 inches of snow over everything, the bike slides perfectly and no tire wear… Then I tried drifting without taking feet off pedals, good going right but fell hard going left lol
I’m right handed so… Ya
Daniel Abal Freire A dirt trail covered in pines straw works really well.
Do it on surfaces that have less traction, like, go fast on a road and when you hit a sandy section smash that brake lever
+Daniel Abal Freire Yeah, just like their channel intro vid: “well that guy doesn’t buy his own tyres” commented as the other one aggressively drifts past the camera!
The 360 skid and fall is my best move
Lam Pepperhard u mean 180 if u did a 360 skid then ur a legend
Skid …Grip… Highside … Hospital….Yeah.
+The Guy we hope you are okay! Scott
I tried drifting on the cement. My bike regained traction way to quickly and it flipped. Not really a fun thing to do.
I can do 180 parking :))) can upload video too if you want
lmao 😀 will try to but my new bike doesnt lock the brakes easily
Do it
I set-up a big pile of dirt the other day and this poor couple gets blasted with dirt ruining their whole evening. I couldn’t help to think it was my fault for their bad day. But after the guy chased me my bad feelings went away. I can look back on this and smile now.
How about ‘How To Adjust Your Helmet Strap’ next?
Does anybody else agree that gmbn should do a video on doing a burnout?
1st gear, hold the front brakes, and pedal as hard as you can.
