What about good DH skills for XC riders on hardtails? Besides some already
from this video?
+Emil Margallo For a hardtail the best tip would be to keep it smooth and
flowing, try the avoid large bumps in the track if possible but dont let
that sway you too much from the best route. Remember to use your knees to
absorb the bumps if they are unavoidable
Tuck, Drop, and Roll technique. Oh wait, that would be for “Downhill
Posers”. :)
LOL @ GCN presenter “madman riding within an inch of his life”
What is the deal with all of the xc hate? We are mountain bikers! and
probably the fastest among you.
these videos are great. could you do longer ones with more detail on each
point? perhaps an individual video on each point you raised. such as
looking ahead. a whole video just on looking ahead and you use your
peripheral vision to helps etc. great work though.
What Jersey are you wearing? Im in need of some cooler weather wear and
like the long sleeve.
Top.
please make a video to how to full service a MTB(:
What about a video for teaching how to do the basics of jumping on a
standard hardtail xc bike. I find that without shocks to preload it’s very
hard to get the bike any higher than what I can do stiffening up my knees
and pulling up with the pedals.
“riding within an inch of his life” re: Dan Lloyd at 2:46 catching “massive
air”.
i think the most important thing is just brave :))
teach the people how to rape berms
Can you start reviewing dh bikes please no one does that
Manualing a jump like at 1:45 can increase your speed more than
bunnyhopping before it.
What happened to the converting a 1x setup video? o_O
Ever had a problem with those Fox Launch Enduro knee pads sliding down? How
about a video on protection?
Bend elbows and bend knees
Who was the ‘mad man riding within an inch of his life’ Was it one of those
GCN mad men in that clip?
From the looks of the 2016 bike line ups , what looks to be the best enduro
bike?
Put captions on its so funny
Nice
A smooth flowly run is always faster than a jagged rough run
People usually use their feet to touch the ground for support while they
are on a turn. Could you explain Why they do this. Sorry for my english!
I put my foot down very rearly, but I do it when I feel like that I am
going to hit the burm really hard, so I feel like I have like a security
belt as a foot, feeling more in controll is really just a mental thing and
it does not benefit you in speed or skill wise
Putting your foot dow. Is often used to show off and bring dust up
+Edgardo Vega They shouldn’t be doing it often, you put your foot down if
it is very slippery and you feel like your bike is going to slide out in
the corner.
I am still learning to manual then bunny hop, but doesn’t it look like
these 2 almost never seem to manual before a jump (save for that tree Neil
jumped)? It’s like the front end just floats up then they pick up the back
end, with the hips as Neil always says.
+Specter1031 If you are moving and do a normal bunny hop you will do a
wheelie before the back wheel leaves the ground… It’s actually harder to
do a bunny hop with both wheels leaving the ground at the same time
A wheelie is determined by pedaling, whilst a manual is determined by pure
impulse and no pedaling at all
its a wheelie not a manual
It might look like they dont manual, but infact the manual is really short
as its coming by an explosive movement so that the bunny hop seems like a
single movement, up.
