Guys i need some help! I have a Giant hardtail bike. It came with a 630 mm
handlebar and a 100-110 mm stem. I want better control at downhill so I
thought about changing to a 50mm stem. Is there a possibility that it
becomes worse having short handlebar and short stem? I wasnt thinking of
buying a new weider handlebar but if what i mentined before makes things
worse i will consider it better.
Thank ya all!
excellent video… Most important thing over the years I ha e found is
people question themselves what am I doing wrong… but more often it’s
bike setup… rebound fast causing washout. . or even bars rolled forward
and levers wrong… and other things.. set your bike up standard to normal
settings first that fit you.. don’t copy pro’s setups as some have strange
ways they like…. then adjust your technique… the smallest adjustment on
the bike makes a massive difference.
how much cost this bike in euro?
:-)
Thank you! priceless video
what is the name of this mountain bike please??
That’s a beautiful bike :D
I’m way more confident riding clipless, but I went over the handlebars and
dislocated a couple fingers a while ago. It probably wouldn’t have been so
bad if my bike wasn’t attached to my feet. My confidence on challenging
stuff is shaken because of it. Do you think going with flats or practicing
safe bailing/falling on clipless will be more beneficial to improving my
ability on technical stuff?
Wow… Made (and still making) most of these mistakes.. Very helpful
tutorial. Thanks
What bike is that? It looks amazing
You guys are awesome. Thank you for what you do.
Thinking from a physics standpoint I have to disagree about keeping your
body upright while leaning the bike. While it is more comfortable and
probably necessary if it’s a narrow trail, it would also make you more
likely to have your tires slip out from underneath you.
Great one!
Awesome. Been riding for years but it’s the details you forget. Thank you.
I think that I need that bike…
this is odd to me because the other two coaches that star in these videos
actually instruct the viewers to do most all of those things. Pushing and
pulling on the bars with their arms, scooping up the pedals with their
feet, etc. It seems to work really well for them. So I’m not sure if either
style is wrong and they seem to be able to pull everything off really well,
but what you’re saying also makes a lot of sense. So basically, I’m
confused!
im new to mtbing and guilty of all of these
I can’t believe people lift up to early on the bars and can’t get up those
little bumps. I mean can you really be that uncoordinated?
Using my local trail ;o). Awesome videos. I need to learn so these help.
Also looking to get coaching too.
What bike do you ride?
HEY GUYS!!!!!! I was checking out your store and wondered how the shirt and
hoodie sizes run. Are the xl truly xl or should someone go for the 2x? I’m
not out of shape. However I’m 6 foot 2 with broad shoulders.
This is really informative. Makes me sad to think back over all the years I
rode bikes and motorcycles and realize why I was never able to perform as
well as my friends. Its the illusive obvious. I’m going to have to spend
some time building the muscle memory to do this stuff the right way.
got a hardtail and full suspension, both with hydraulic brake, giving me
huge headache and not reliable
how do you overcome falling? I got my full suspension bike about 2 years,
but battery rides its, cause anytime I take it up the mountain, my brakes
lock up, too bike back to shop, bleed brake and same thing happens, so I
barely ride my mtb, and mostly ride road
What general rule would you recommend for seat height? I’ve been using it
almost at hip, but I’m starting to think I’m too high? I’m at beginner
level by the way. thanks for the help!
