With the road season coming to a close in the heat of Abu Dhabi, we ask whether racing in places like the UAE represents the future of a truly global sport of cycling or whether the heart of the sport will always lie in Europe. What do you think?
Elsewhere, We round up the rest of the racing, Australia passes law to protect cyclists, we look at Judge Dredd’s bike and we run the rule on the latest transfers. It’s our longest show to date!

Is that Mt Cootha on the last GCN introduction? Looks like Brisbane in the
background.

Where did you hear or see this? I can’t find any information about the
training plan feature on their website or app.

You need to do another presenters bike series because you all have several
new bikes.
Caption: Peter, estás tan guapo. Do you think I could be as popular as you
if I grow my hair longer?
I’m not sure seeing the back of the speedo saga is any better than seeing
the front.

Mt Cootha in the intro 😀 Brisbane represent!
Wow, you guys are including triathlon into the show (as of 18:18). Did not
expect that! I suggest you could compare tt bikes once since I assume there
are quite some triathletes among your subscribers. Also, I’d love to see
you guys trying a triathlon ^^ (and I am not talking about the one of Matt,
Lasti and Lloyd at the hotel, I mean a real one)
4:16 I don’t feel comfortable about the new law that forces drivers to give
a meter away to cyclists. Do they get fined if the gap is 90cm? I also live
in Australia and over the past years I have developed a habit of giving way
to buses and tracks, riding close to the verge to let large veichles
overtake me as well as simply jumping onto footpath when the traffic gets
jammed up. In return, I always get a thumb-up from the driver which makes
my day and their day. At the same time, I have seen many irresponsible
riders running over traffic lights, blocking bus stops and swearing at
pedastrains for no reason. What we need to remember is the road is a shared
path and we are not the only ones using it. We can only have road harmony
and safety when both parties become considerate to each other.
