Glad I found this video. Right now I am trying to sell my mtb hardtail and
buy a road bike xD. Had my mtb for 2 years now and I had some great time
with it. I wanna try a road bike now :)
Improve your cycling further,
ride your mountain bike on the road, and your racing bike offroad ;)
the wonderful feeling of the wind as cars pass next to you at 60mph
But which one is more fun?
#5 Well I guess it’s a good thing I live less than a mile from some dozens
of miles pristine mountain trails. Thanks Helena, Montana!
I owned a road bicycle for a week and broke it within a week. My mountain
bike can do 80mph down hill on rock paths this is due to terminal velocity,
but took a road bicycle out once got it to 58.5mph along a flat road, hit a
bump and the bike snapped, front wheel hit me in the face then I fell to
the floor bounced 8 times before coming to a sliding stop. Had a helmet on
my head which saved my life, went home. In a ambulance. Think I’m going to
stick with my reinforced mountain bike with its hard tail. However I have
suspension lockout so I can turn it into a road bike when I want some extra
speed.

I came from a MTB background. Then, I went to road biking . I must say the
ATB/MTB really gives you the leg strength and handling skills that you will
need for road biking.
You can always do both. A friend of mine rides with us roadies on his
mountain bike fitted with road tires.
Nice video
Ok I would get one if they weren’t so expensive do u know where I could get
a $100 24” road bike?
Nice try, homos! :D
Is it worth buying a road bike? Will I notice a significant difference on
roads?
I am an amateur cyclist. I ride both mountain and road, and let me please
say that mountain is ALOT better. Yes, the beauty of owning a road bike is
that you can literally walk out your front door and go for a spin and yes,
going to mountain bike trails can be a little of an inconvenience. Let me
just mention, you will get a hell of a lot more fit on a mountain bike, and
it is also a lot more fun. Road biking is quite boring. Yes, mountain
biking is a more expensive sport than road biking, but it’s all worth it.
It’s also less dangerous, a fall can be fatal, but it’s less risky than
being hit my a car going at 100KM per hour. Don’t get me wrong, I love road
biking, but in my opinion, mountain biking is better. Riding 1 KM on a MTB
trail is equivalent to riding 2KM on the road. You can also ride a mountain
bike on the road, granted, it’s not as easy, but gears on the mountain bike
make it easier to ride up hills. You can’t ride a road bike on a mountain
bike trail, the wheels just simply aren’t made for that, a mountain bike
can ride anywhere!
However, I do love Riding both and am glad to see the sport is becoming
more popular!
Please comment, I’d like to hear your opinions and have constructive
discussions as to why you would agree or disagree with my statement
but, roadcycling is gay, evrybody hates you n you always drive in the way
atleast mountainbikers stay away from the roads, roads are for
motorvehiculs
off road trails are more interesting than road and safer. road cycling
amongst traffic isn’t very safe.
im getting a giant mountain bike is giant a good make or should i buy
something different?
no stay on mountains !!!! fkn pests !
