Your’re riding a bike with a MP3 player, you’re not hearing motorists,
you’re riding in a very un-safe and incompetent manner. You recommend a
helmet, well you’re going to need it when you get hit by a car from behind.
IF you’re a normal human the skin will adapt to the sun and your skin will
tan and protect you from burning, begin with limited exposure until your
body adapts. Use a natural moisturizer instead of chemical laden sunscreen.
If you are tan, and moisturized such as Burt’s Bee’s the sun won’t burn
you. Skin cancer does not come from the sun, but from toxic chemicals and
heavy metals stored in your body, de-tox with a safe system to clear your
body of toxins. Detoxing from perspiration is your bodies first defense in
releasing these toxins, so by training intensely you are already on your
way to health.
Some cities and states encourage bikes………. they provide safe walking
and biking lanes and trails. Cities also should encourage businesses and
apartments to provide safe places to lock or store a bicycle. Encourage
your elected officials to do more. Speak up.. become an advocate for
bicycle use in your city.
I stopped watching when you said you were against sun screen….
I’m for sun screen because sun burn and skin cancer sock it to my body.
That’s my tip
So you’re friend basicly overpaired for his shoes. Look up the official
specialized site and look at the prices of the mtb shoes. And as i said the
velcro straps are cheaper to produce and because of that, you won’t get a
stiff shoe, which is key. And repairment parts for ski-buckles and boa’s
are also sold and easy to install, so i can’t see why you wouldn’t want a
stiffer and way more adjustable shoe..
my friend bought a pair at the Cairns Specialized store (Pump’n Pedals)
about 4 months ago, I put the cleats on them for her myself.. and they had
3 velcro straps on them they do exist brah
First off, find me a $150 specialized mtb shoe with only velcro straps.
Doesn’t exist. The velcro straps are used on the cheaper models, while the
boa system, which i have on mine, are on the more expensive. The cheap ones
haven’t got a carbon soleplate ex. and are just cheaper and therefore
usually worse quality. Remember that you only get, what you pay for.
so when you spend $150 on a pair of specialized mtb shoes that are all
velcro, they are shit quality? sure bud
About the velcro straps – Don’t go for those. They are usally on worse
quality shoes. I had a pair of Mavic Peloton for my first road shoes, and
the buckle that the velcro wraps around got bent so i had to buy a whole
new pair. Buy the ski buckle or the boa systems!
did you almost die because of the music or because you made a mistake?
You should never listen to music on the road……. I almost died last
years……
