If I’m not nearly as good as these guys, do you think I could survive this trail if I took it easy/a little slow? or are there some really dangerous spots?

Yes, easily. Just avoid the features you’re not quite ready for and enjoy the heck out of it!
Aside from a few spots like the Tombstone lip and the rock drop, it’s mostly tabletops, so you can come up short and survive. If you’re at Whistler, though, you can spend a lot of fun time on Crank It Up getting better so you’re not freaked out by the size of the jumps on A-Line. Even better, take a lesson with one of the great instructors; they are pretty good at getting your jump form up to speed and knowing when you’re ready…and definitely ask to follow your instructor down the first time to get a feel for the right speed to hit everything.

Um…yeah, it’s ridden a LOT, so yeah, it’s gonna get beaten up. Of course, the brake bumps are a lot less punishing if you stay off your own brakes!
