Can I just say I LOVE how real this is with your background looking “lived
in?” I was telling my husband yesterday how filming is such a pain in the
ass because everything in each scene has to look “perfect.” Not realistic
for a mom

So calories are lower on low carb days? What would be a reasonable schedule
for low and high days? There are so many different answers to this, but for
someone starting to carb cycle, what would be a reasonable experiment
schedule? Does this work because the overall weekly calories are lower than
maintenance?

Do you eat 1gram of protein per pound of your body fat or do you think
0.7-0.8 grams is enough? I read a lot about it online but i was wondering

I have always just used a high carb/low fat/high protein diet while on
caloric deficits to keep my metabolism firing and reverse diet out of cuts
to never give my body a sharp, sudden uptick in calories. I think a lot of
the metabolic damage people get on diets is because they also go low carb
with it.
Okay this was soo helpful!!! A popular girl on insta in her plans said that
fat needs to be cut wayyyyy down on high carb days. Like when I calculated
mine it was 20g! Which is crazy to me because I eat 50-60g right now! Her
explanation was so the extra carbs dont get stored as fat… is this true??
I wanna try carb cycling but never wanted to cut my fat that low

Wow this was soooo helpful!!! I’ve been wondering about carb cycling and
there are so many people who have mentioned it or said something about
being sluggish during their “low-carb days” and now I get it! I’ve been
tracking macros for a while now and am excited to give this a try to get to
the next level. Thanks for the scrunchy lesson – totally get it!
Hi Amanda! I love your videos, I’ve learned to much just from watching your
videos and following you on Instagram. I’ve been tracking macros on and off
for a couples years. I use higher carb days on days I’m lifting and lower
carb higher fat on days I’m resting/cardio. What’s days are best for carb
cycling? I don’t really know where/how to add that in. Thanks!

seriously one of the most beautifully simple explanations ever. So helpful!

just wondering, how many high/low carb days would you suggest alternating
between to lose fat gradually? For example, one high carb day and three low
