Very helpful. Thank you
so true about cheap cable locks, mine got stolen today, I am definatelly
looking for a motorbike lock now…
Great advices! I combine an ABUS D-lock on the frame with an anti-theft
device on wheels and saddle
http://www.zefal.com/en/locking-pins/93-lock-n-roll.html these ones can
only unlock when the bike is upside down, so the only chance to get any
parts is to cut the D-lock, and there’s no extra steps when locking than
the D-lock. Since I have that, I lived in various places where bike theft
is common, having a fairly new and nice looking bike, and nothing happened
to it, so I highly recommend this :)
what if im at a mall. should i just use a wire cable type of lock?
d man please make a video about how to inflate tires when traveling . . .
like what pump you use and the options. . . I know the basics, frame pumps
and such, but how do you check PSI with one of those frame pumps? thanks
Thanks for the tips. I too have a Secteur. What kind of fender do you have?
I have been digging your videos. Thanks for sharing.

mofos stealing seats, what a pest
I just got my first road bike on my birthday, May 5 XD, It is electric blue
and black and flashy looking (wasn’t terribly expensive though at $1000) I
bought the krypotinte D lock and cable you showed @1:28 but I’m afraid it’s
too long and narrow, which is easier to break and I can’t attach it to my
frame. I think I will exchange it for the Kryponite new york D lock and buy
an additional cable. Thanks for this video, it was helpful!
People stealing my bike seat… I NEVER thought about that but know you say
it it’s possible and very easy to do.. Great video man.
If the pole you’re locking to is near the street, lock your bike on the
side away from the street. Sometimes bikes can fall at an angle while
locked and the wheels can get hit by a car.
Good tips. You can also lock the Dlock through the seat tube and rear wheel
at the same time, or rear wheel and seat stay or chain stay, and then use
the cable lock on the front wheel. I don’t have expensive wheels though and
don’t have a cable lock so I’m just going to have to be content with
securing frame+rear wheel and hope no one steals my front wheel or saddle.

+Puhleez 🙁 I just had to!!
Thanks so much for this video! I enjoy all of your videos, but I am
especially loving the cycling series! =)
+Just A Murmur awesome, glad to hear 🙂
Good tips but that is lots of effort everytime you park your bike.
+Thomas Jacob What would you rather Thomas… extra effort or no bike?
+Thomas Jacob considering there is over $2000 in to my bike, not really 😉
Whenever I lock up nd leave my bike I`m always amazed how many Garmin and
other GPS systems I see left on other peoples bikes. One twist as you walk
past and its gone. I see them everywhere on bikes that have been left.
Lunatics!
+VeganMinimalist Mark you could start a resale business? 😉
