how could he not win with that double lol
+TheFreerideGuy Semenuk rides so smoothly and his tricks are so dialed it almost looks easy. It’s not, that’s jus how good he is. The judges know what these lines look like from up there and I think their scores are fair. But I do agree, Aggy had a sick run going and this trick was crazy.
+Eric Cartman Yeah I get your point. Most viewers who dont ride DH or Freeride themself, can’t understand the difficulty of the steep things without tricks, thats true (I ride DH myself..)
It would have been so sick when Aggy wouldn’t have crashed. His line got the best mixture of both worlds in my opinion.
Eric Cartman I think they are just 2 groups of people expecting/looking for different things in a rampage run. 1 group is the slopestyle “trick everything” group and the other preferring “oldschool” big mountain riding like for example Aggy did with a few tricks but still lots of big mountain stuff (steep and gnarly chutes for example)
If only he had put one more suicide in the drops there, the score would have been way better. Semenuk would have taken another run or something and the competition would have lasted longer ’cause with this, it was over! McCaul was talking about a three year plan for Bizet, maybe it was one year too late…
Semenuk still had a couple big mountain moves in his line too. That double drop thing he did was insane. Yeah he had a couple more groomed out trick hits but overall his line was well rounded
This was insane!
gopro 5 for sure!
Are you trying to comment every comments on this video ? Oo must be pretty bored
How do they gauge the speed they need to rotate to pull that off. Do they get any practice runs?
They build their own routes down the mountain. They know everything about each twist and turn of their line. As they build it I think they get to practice whenever they want. I think they have like a week to do the whole process or something.
The big jumps had blind landings, but I got my answer when looking at the other vids. One of them said “practice day.” So, yeah they got practice runs.
after time, once you get good, it’s really not that hard to judge the speed you need to make those big jumps. also, a lot of the time, the jumps are made by hills that will give you the correct amount of speed to make the jumps
They likely have been practicing flipping into foam pits long before they try this on a mountain (also practice runs)
Thats the wining run in my opinion
Well i am not the only one with that opinion.
Un frenchie qui sort le double!! Respect Antoine!!
Les Points. mdr
bof, moi je fais des double backflip no hander sur le chemin de l’école
Non seulement un double mais le premier double de l histoire des Rampages
you guys are insane!!
I guess they are really,,,,
Should have won it!
Eric Cartman Based on the judging criteria, he could easily have won it. Good, hard line choice, speed, and good tricks/style
Eric Cartman There’s something called an opinion you know. Don’t criticize them for it
