You forgot visiting the portapotty for obligatory weight savings.
gotta take that prd
Definitely breaking the “bike should be more expensive than the car” rule.

IFHT
whose rule is that? it’s a dumb rule if it is a rule at all.
These may be the top reasons I ride alone. I pedal from my door to the trail head, ride my fav runs explore a few trails I haven’t been on, then ride home.
+Jordan Keeler I am planning on getting one. along with a better bike. I’ll make sure to upload vids. search up DVP TRAILS TORONTO
+Jordan Keeler I think all areas of the globe offer a ton of fun trails, I wish I had a cam…maybe Ill have to save for a good one as some of the stuff here is cool looking, but the answer I gave to Eric up top wasn’t meant to be snarky…there are literally trails all around our house, which is a big change for me and the fam as we moved here from the other side of Canada….to start a bike shop 🙂
that sounds like a blast! maybe someday ill end up somewhere like that, but for now my trails are fun, albeit probably not as fun as yours. you should upload a video if you have an action cam or something like that, that would be fun!
+Jordan Keeler dayumn … thanks … In Toronto there is a tarmac trail system that leads to different mud, jumping or downhill sections ?? I went to a downhill but it was muddy and I ended up getting stuck at the bottom cuz my rear tire wasnt good for mud (slicks)
+Marc Ariss Most of the time I take my bike on the train. Although there some nice bridleways around the North Downs if I ride my bike from home for about an hour.
is there any chance of a “how to crash” video, by which i mean techniques for avoiding injury, what to aim for when you know you’re going to crash and such?
I think Seths Bike Hacks did a video about crashing maybe have a look at that 🙂
Yeah i managed to do that on my most recent crash, however my thumb got caught on the handlebar as i came off, spraining both my thumb and wrist, was a difficult ride back, thankfully it happened at the end of the day.
+RedKite Agree with the others, I pivot and take the impact on the shoulder while rolling. If you’re crashing face first, fend off the ground with hands, into a roll. Takes practice though, I learned it from snowboarding
Pretty much. In martial arts, we were taught how to properly fall so we wouldn’t hurt ourselves whilst grappling. Who would have guessed that years latter, i’d be translating it to a completely different sport
+Random Weeb agree. That seems to be best way. If you can spread force of impact over larger surface or introduce force gradually to your body you’re a winner.
You can’t be a proper Enduro rider without The Audi A4 Avant 🙂
+antwake Or a LOB, XC70, Justy or any other AWD car.
Agreed.
Nice car, GMBN pay’s better than I thought.
Stuart Carson sponsors as well
car park test! the fastest way you can get your wheels out of true
It’s easy to bunny hop with full suspension bike..next time try with hardtail 😉
+Brian Masters very true
I’ve had a hardtail and now i have full. on the hardtail was quite easier, but now having a dropper post made things different. With a full suspension bike is almost the same thing but i feel safer and i don’t need to care about making my legs softer because there’s the suspension helping out 😉
+Blaž Marot Its easy to Bunny hop on anything
+Blaž Marot It’s actually easier with a hardtail… hell, it’s easier with a rigid bike.
+Blaž Marot its arguably just as easy or easier with a hardtail if you can’t preload a suspension. hardtail=instant feedback.
