Instructions were not clear enough, penis got caught in my cassette…. In all seriousness this was really informative cheers guys, I will head out and practice in the sun this afternoon 🙂
Absolutely brilliant!
For people struggling I have found the hidden key (for me anyway)
Squat…….
I bend my knees and explosively straighten them out at about 45 degs out over the back tyre.
Make sure to drive your heals down so the soles of your feet are pointing forwards.
Stiff arms and up she come
Hope this helps
Now I have to master keeping it there 🙂
Robbie Keane You sir, are a gentleman & scholar!!! Gonna play around with this technique and see if I can master it ?
lol, this has to be the dumbest comment i’ve read this year.
I don’t want to offend anyone, but you can practically manual any bike, it all comes down to technique
+Mark Keavin manuals are easier on Scott, Canyon and Santa Cruz (whatever Neil rides). I’ve tried on specialized, yeti, trek, doesn’t work.
does bike rim decals or stickers are important ?
+Robbie Keane i`ve been training weightlifting nearly 3 years and still doing heavy squats but haven`t helped me 😀
You can’t obtain this skill without mastering wheeling first, because manualing is mostly likely to follow naturally, instead of practicing just manual.
I think that it should be 90 seconds instead of 60, include trouble shooting!!
The lighter the bike, the easier. The smaller the bike, the easier. The shorter the chain, the easier. The shorter the stem length, the easier. The more vertical-ish the head angle of your frame is, the easier. The more torso to legs ratio you have, the easier. and lastly, the more practice you have, the more impossible it is to not manual on any bike that exists.
true story.
Can you teach us using a hardtail cause many viewers would be using a hardtail too
Full suspension is much harder to manual than a hard tail because the rear suspension keep bouncing….
Do Pro-bikes on Sunday or another day.
You should review bikes. I love to see reviews of bikes

And also review different components
