When cornering in a group, communication is key – signalling tight turns is helpful and offers a warning that the riders around you are slowing down. When braking, it’s typically best to apply pressure to both the front and rear brake evenly, ideally before you enter the corner. Leaning your bike into the turn and keeping your body low will increase the available traction in the turn itself.

over mate! (road rage in UK. white car almost ran over cyclists)
One area where everyone seems to get it wrong with cycling cornering is to
stick your inside knee “out” like a motorcyclist. Your inside knee should
be in, touching the top tube when your outside foot is in the down
position. This keeps your body position and weight over the bike and makes
the bike more maneuverable. I got this technique from Davis Phinney ages
ago and it works SO much better than knee out.

or even rapha.
Hog hill!
When i group ride, i just hang my cock out the side of my shorts and point
it to the direction i want to turn….the muppets behind me can easily see
my purple knob and decipher which direction im about to turn. Try it, it
works.
This was one goofy ass video.
